Not all stress is bad. the body and brain's normal reaction to everyday stress is what allows us to handle daily challenges, such as waking up to an alarm clock in the morning, getting stuck in traffic, or coming home to a birthday surprise.

Stress can also give you appropriate awareness of when you’re in danger. "It’s essential to your survival as a human being,”

The problem is when stress becomes chronic, or when you find that you’re constantly having an outsize reaction to small stressors. That’s when stress can be less than beneficial, impacting your emotions, cognition, and physical health in a negative way, and even causing serious illness down the line, be it heart disease, lowered immunity, or changes in the brain.

But while it’s impossible to banish stress entirely, every one of us can learn ways to help manage its effects, minimize its nervous-making symptoms, and stay calmer and cooler.

Practicing mindfulness can help you make better decisions, be more aware and live a happier, healthier life.

During an 1,5 hour workshop you will be given an introduction to Mindfulness. the introduction also contains exercises that you can use in daily life.

The workshop is suitable for everyone, but when in doubt, please do not hesitate to call me.

MBSR, mindfulness based stress reduction-Training

if you would like to really get into mindfulness and make it an daily practice, the 8 week mbsr training is just what you need.

During the 8 sessions, 1 per week, you learn more about the autopilot, stress and becoming aware. the training contains exercices and homework to help you practice mindfulness.

The training is suitable for everyone, but when in doubt, please do not hesitate to call me.
